Fabi Patino (Guitar, Cuatro, Timbalitos & Vocals)

Born in the mystical valley of tenochtitlan mexico, fabi starts his musical training at a young age. supported by his parents, a painter and a ballet dancer, fabi enrolls in the national school of music to study classical percussion. following his passion for writing music and performing, he decides to migrate. Arriving to the united states in a mission to compose original music, he immediately becomes involved with the unique multi-cultural movement emerging at the time in Miami.

Soon after, fabi started his now twelve-year journey in search of the one blend. he began collaborating with many leading artist in the scene, while always conserving a space for a group of his own. his style has now been brewing for over a decade. In his own words, "I had to travel through all of these different bands in order to conceive the music for Lanzallamas Monofonica." Fabi feels he has now arrived at the peak of his abilities as a conceptual artist. In full flourishment as a lead vocalist and stretching the boundaries of everything he has done before, Fabi’s palette of instruments include: acoustic guitar, Venezuelan cuatro, timbalitos, bata and drum set. Immersed in this magnificent array of sonic beauty, Fabi focuses his inspiration and aims his pen at writing what he calls "community worker songs". Music of a monophonic essence; the one sound.
